Best use:
SD gives a smoother sanded surface and a better final finish as the silicon carbide grains produce less fibre rising and a finer scratch pattern than products using aluminium oxide grains. It has been designed for belt sanding machines or edge sanders. SD gives excellent results in the wood industry for the sanding of paints and solvent-based polyurethane varnishes, UV and, PVC paints.
